Aim for Chanel. Settle for Zara.

Happy Sunday everyone!

Today I want to share one of my latest purchases, the Zara City Bag. As everyone knows, I am a label whore when it comes to handbags, however, when you're on the "student" budget, designer handbags are simply a luxury I can't afford. Having said that, you can cheat your way into getting a designer handbag for less (and no, I don't mean to buy a fake one).

We all know that Zara is one of the most well-known fast fashion brands that has the tendency to copy some designer products (read my blogpost about it here HEY ZARA, THAT LOOKS A LITTLE TOO FAMILIAR...) and so today I want to share a product that is "inspired" by the A/W 2013 Chanel Alligator Boy Flap Handbag.

The Chanel Alligator Boy Handbag was being worn by some of the most famous faces in the industry, so its not surprising that Zara needed to release a version which was budget friendly for us girls out there. With it's glossy leather embossed detailing and sturdy silver toned hardware, Zara did not fail us. The bag is priced at £89.99 on the Zara website, which is still expensive for a fast-fashion handbag, but you will not regret buying this bag! The strap can be worn normally or can also be doubled up depending on how you would prefer to wear it. The interior of the bag features two main pockets, a life-saver for those messy people out there as it promotes organisation, what every girl needs in her bag.

Thanks for reading! What are your thoughts on the Zara City Bag?
