As we both have plans come September to study in London as undergraduates, Chrystal at Goldsmiths and me at Ravensbourne, we want to get to London as much as possible before we move there.
There's a sort of feeling you get when you visit London, whether it's because it's a fast-paced city or because it's the UK's fashion capital, I feel a sort of excitement every time that train comes into London Charing Cross. I've always hated cities, the feeling that if you don't stop and take a look around, you may be left behind. But I feel as though this might be God's plan in the works so I am working towards it.
We started the day in Starbucks, to plan what was in the works for the day (we're both very organised people) and to rest after the hour train ride. We started off in Soho to visit a couple fabric shops for my little "hobby", if that's what you want to call it. Then, spent the rest of the day on Oxford Street. The sales have been at an all time high since the end of June so it wasn't hard to visit the 4 different Zara's and to visit every other high-street store known to man. Of course, I needed to get the perfect Instagram picture because why not? We finally found an insta-worthy wall off one of the side roads of Soho and those are the photos I featured on my Instagram (@erika.louise.hanson), Twitter (@itserikaahnson) and Snapchat (@itserikahanson).
