*dramatic effect* dun, dun, dunnnnn... the end.
Whilst my internship may have come to an end, it is not the end of this term of internships. With two more along the way, Stella McCartney starting on 21st January and DAZED starting on 2nd February, this is only the beginning.
During this last week of interning at ELLE, I went on a shoot called "ZOOM", which is featured in every issue. It was the first ever shoot I've been on, and let me just say shoots aren't personally for me, but it was a good first experience. The overall experience of this internship is a good one, even though my initial response wasn't a positive one. Long hours for no pay; its not something I'd choose to do (as would anyone). But I've come out knowing more about PR agencies, even though I don't want to work for one, and how these individuals work to produce what we see when we pay £4.40 for ELLE magazine. Was the experience straight out of The Devil Wears Prada? No. Would I do it again? Yes.

I had the pleasure of meeting the Editor-in-Chief of ELLE, Anne-Marie Curtis, and in all honesty wouldn't have been able to pick her out from a crowd until I googled her image. A title like that means you're set for life, especially for a publication like ELLE, so if it means interning for years to get to that place, thats what I'll do.
Thanks for following this journey!
