WARDROBE ESSENTIALS

Whether you needed an updated Wardrobe Essentials blogpost or not, I had @LJsLooks request it on Twitter. We're both going to College/University come September so this will especially be useful to those who are moving to a room where the closet will just about fit two jackets and one pair of shoes in.

#1. GRAPHIC TEES

Graphic tees are the perfect addition to your wardrobe when you just need to throw a top on and be out the door straight away.

#2. SWEATERS

When t gets to the colder months of the year, an everyday sweater is perfect to throw on with a skirt or pair of jeans. I prefer to keep my jumpers a neutral colour so they never go out of style.

#3. SUEDE JACKET

This year I found myself obsessed with suede jackets and wore them throughout the whole of winter and spring. I bought 5a handful from Zara which I plan on making them last for years on end.

#4. NEUTRAL COAT

A neutral coat is a staple for the colder months of the year, as you can literally throw them on with everything and they will almost always match with whatever you're wearing.
#5. CO-ORD

Co-ords have been around for years but recently they've become very popular and you can almost always find them in every store on the high street.
#6. WHITE TROUSERS

If you don't own a pair of white jeans, then get yourself a pair of white trousers or culottes. They're incredibly easy to style and can be worn throughout the year.

#7. EVERYDAY BLUE JEANS

If you don't already own a pair of everyday blue jeans, then what do you actually wear? Always invest in jeans, as then they can last you years instead of having to re-purchase them again and again.

#8. EVERYDAY BLACK JEANS

As well as a decent pair of blue jeans, a girl needs to have a pair of black jeans in their closet. How else would you wear that go-to all black deathly outfit?

#9. DENIM SKIRT

I've recently become obsessed with denim skirts, especially in the spring and summer as they just instantly make any outfit look chic.

#10. WHITE SNEAKERS

I still haven't found "the one" i.e. A pair of white trainers that actually last. I've bought adidas, vans and zara trainers over the years and every pair have eventually fallen apart (did I mention I'd wear them days on end?)

#11. BACKPACK

Yes, you've guessed right, these are all Zara backpacks. I'm a die-hard fan of Zara bags. For their price and quality, I think they're the best you'll find on the high street.

#12. HANDBAG

Again, more Zara handbags. Though some can get a big pricey, it's money well spent.

I must mention that I hate buying into fast fashion due to ethical reasons (obviously), but if you're someone who isn't getting more than triple figures, then we have to make do with high street stores for the time being.
